rankings in forum- newbie, jr. member, etc...
« on: June 24, 2012, 07:00:23 pm »
I was curious if anyone knew how the rankings worked and at what point you move from newbie to jr. member and so on? I've been a member for a few months but just started posting in the forum. not majorly important just something I'd wondered about thanks for any help.

I've been wondering this as well, though I've never sought out the answer. I assume we need to have a certain amount of posts to be promoted to each rank. Maybe someone knows the number for each tier.

I don't remember the exact details of what number of posts moves your "status" up on the forums but really the "status" on the side bar doesn't mean anything.  It's basically just a title to show how much you have contributed to the forums.

the rankings in the forum are solely based on the number of posts youve made and has no real meaning or purpose except I guess to keep track if you want and you get a little gold star next to your name when reaching a new level.

I believe, but am not 100% positive, that the rankings move up like this:

Newbie                                                   1 - 49 posts
Jr Member                                              50 - 99 posts
Full Member                                           100 - 249 posts
Sr Member                                             250 - 500 posts
Hero Member                                         501 - 749 posts
Elite Member                                          750 - 999 posts
Silver Member                                        1000 - 1999 posts
Gold Member                                          2000 + posts
and now there is a 'Platinum Member' but Ive only seen 1 person have that and I think its for 4,000 posts

I think that you have to do more than just the post limit its a little more than that, because I think to become a jr. member you also have to qualify for the 3$ bonus at least once.
