Your "opposition" does not have to be unyielding. 

It's my choice to be unyielding in my opposition to mind-numbing religious proselytizing because of the insidiously harmful effects of blind religious "faith", (as history supports).
 

It's the lack of tolerance for others' beliefs. 

There is no inherent requirement to be 'tolerant' of specious religious superstitions, cannbalism, genocide or any other harmful practice.

Some people would say that it is better to agree to disagree when the middle of the road can't be met. 

No surrender.

Yes - all of that is your choice and your freedom to believe what you want.  I'm not arguing with your choice to think what you want!  Go for it!

ather, Your grace abounds like a fountain that never exhausts its flow. We testify to the gospel of Your grace as it overflows into every area of our being. Heavenly Father,
There are times when various members of the ____ family need to confess to you that they have blown it in certain areas. Thank you that you do not condemn them, but have made a way for them to be forgiven and freed. Help them to come to a place where you would forgive us through the blood of Jesus. Free them from any guilt, and help them to start again in your strength, rather than their own. Lord, I ask that you would set their lives back into order, and that you would redeem that which was lost. Help them to understand how not to fall back into the same sin, but to be victorious in every area of their lives. I thank you, Lord, that because you love them, you will set us back on the path you have established for them.
