The three things I will have with me is:

1. food/water

2. my boyfriend

3. cell phone/laptop

1. Flint fire starter - Fire is one of the most important things you will need for survival. Fire has multiple uses such as to cook food, keep wild animals away, light, boil water, and to keep yourself warm.

2. Knife - Another useful thing for survival. Use it to kill/slice animals you're going to eat, cut wood, and to defend yourself.

3. Canteen - If you want to survive, you need water. A canteen is a tool that allows you to carry water.

I think this is the wisest answer so far, but I'd bring a salt water converter instead of a canteen though.  Electronic devices would be worthless since there would be no power or signals.  Bringing a pet would be another mouth to feed.  The knife could allow you to build a shelter, a bed and a spear or net to catch fish.   

However the best thing of all to bring is a "deserted island survival kit" containing all three of the above, a solar powered short wave radio, some survival clothes and emergency rations.
