May God be the doctor to heal the person in need.

Such an attribution is a false one; doctors are not 'g-ds'.

LOL, ohhh but you don't know my God, My God is the doctor of doctors  ;D He is the chief ! The Boss, The ONE and ONLY !

In that case, where are the millions of pending medical malpractice suits to be filed, federal court?  It'll be fun when 'g-d' loses by default for not showing up when subpoenaed.

Of course ... and when no 'g-d' shows up in response to a court-ordered subpeona, that hypothetical entity will lose any class-action lawsuit filed against it, (although the attorneys would have some difficulty putting a lien on the assets of a hypothetical entity, they could use the ruling to establish precedence for going after billions in church assets ... hmm ...).

... God will NOT show up ...

Then a default could cost thousands of churches multiple-millions, (I seriously doubt such a class-action litigation would qualify for litigation precisely due to naming 'g-d' as a defendant).

Since you probably didn't read that link; "Ernie Chambers, a Nebraska state senator, has filed a lawsuit in a Douglas County, Nebraska state court naming God as defendant. The suit accuses God of causing, death destruction and terror through floods, earthquakes, hurricanes, tornadoes and plagues. The lawsuit asks for a permanent injunction ordering defendant to cease harmful activities.  On Thursday, Sept. 20 2007, the Christian Post reported that a one page document mysteriously appeared on the counter in the clerk's office at the Douglas County Court House. Captioned a "Special Appearance", it argues that Chambers' lawsuit should be dismissed because there was not proper service of a summons on defendant."

Seems like a missed opportunity since they could've found some xtian fundie who claims to *see* 'g-d' and pay them to serve the appearance subpoena on the defendant, (although I'm not suggesting that they have said fundie memorize it and then *send* the poor fool 'to g-d').

That's some kind of collection of vague, mystical predictions will neer seem to come to pass, aye?

The living word of  God,,,,, I stand by my God always, no matter what you or others say or think or do to try to keep us CHRISTIANS away from God.

Books aren't alive, the ones who believe in some books are.  My responses aren't intended to "keep" any xtians away from their faith-based religious self-delusions.  On the contrary, the flood of such proselytizing by xtians serves as a 'warning' to others who haven't gone blind yet.

Gota go, but be back later, don't post much ... then geeez have to catch up on you, track you down....  ;)

If you mean, continue to troll me, I can't say I'm looking forward to acquiring another 'roadie'.

My prayers go up for your friend. I know that prayer works and God answers prayer. Keep trusting and never let up; the bible says "all things are possible with God."

No, you believe that it does and have "faith" but, these are not the same as 'knowing', (even in the noetic sense), because there' no evidence to support such claims.

Keep trusting and never let up; the bible says "all things are possible with God."

Let's see ... "the bible says ..." and if such a source is inerrant, that means the premise and the conclusion are the same assertion in an illogical, circular manner of invalidation.

For sure! I am so happy that we have someone to go to with the cares of life.  Like illness etc.  I prayed for Chuck and for Jean as well.  I know that prayer works.  It is unbelievable.  I really like the "secular" studies where doctors and other medical personnel who aren't necessarily believers came to the conclusion that folks who are prayed for have much better outcomes than one's who don't.  You guys stay strong.  I'm sure your request will net Chuck and his wife a lot of prayers

Does this really need to turn into a religious debate?  This isn't really a topic for it.

My best wishes to you.  I to know someone going through a hard time.  My mother has been in the hospital since March due to COPD and heart failure.
