As I was filling out a survey this morning (on another website), I came across a question about Health Problems.  There was a list to be checked off, and one of the conditions was "Irritable Male Syndrome."  I snickered and then decided to look it up.  Much to my surprise, I find there is such a condition.  And here I thought all men had that!!!  Now it's a syndrome?

Whereas there's no specific "irritable female syndrome" listed because that is their normal default mode?
 :o

There is... However it is call P.P.M.S. Permanent Premenstrual Syndrome. :D
I was lying in bed the other night, looking up at the stars, and thinking, "Where in the heck is my roof?"

Men just wanted something to blame irritability on. They are playing off of PMS - which is a physical condition. LOL

They're both physical conditions, except women get a bonus one: menopause, (which apparently is a sufficiently virulent condition to give 'men pause').

One can lead a horse to water however, if one holds the horse's head under, that horse will drown.

Car Has Sky-high Asking Price

Two gents at this past weekend's Goodwood Festival of Speed in the UK got the chance to sit in the Infiniti FX Sebastian Vettel Version, and not only did they start it up, but they recorded its sound. The 414-horsepower crossover surprises not only with its sky-high asking price of €120,000 (circa $155k USD), but also with a remarkably exciting soundtrack. Pushing the button adjacent to the ashtray triggers a Mr. Hyde routine on the exhaust note, turning the rich baritone burble from intimidation to deepest fear.

Only 200 of the pearl white special edition FXs will be made, and with most of them likely headed for the Middle East, things are about to get even louder in the desert.

COMMENTARY:  I expect I would be screaming loudly just to get to sit on one of them.

I have a real bad case of irritable male syndrome. I am very irritated with a male person I know. His behavior is very annoying and irritating.

Mass. man pays off mortgage with 800 pounds of pennies

By Douglas Stanglin, USA TODAY

By David Zalubowski, AP
A Massachusetts man's notion to pay off his mortgage in pennies started out as a joke 35 years ago, then became an obsession and finally turned into a reality, The Milford Daily News reports.

In April, Thomas Daigle delivered two 400-pound boxes holding more than 62,000 pennies onto the steps of Milford Federal savings and Loan Association to make the last payment on the home he and his wife, Sandra, bought when they married in 1977.

Daigle tells the newspaper's Derek McLean that he just wanted to make the last payment "memorable," and began collecting an average of 2.5 pennies a day.

He carefully rolled them into packs of exactly 50 cents. Milford Federal, the newspaper reports, claims every roll was accurately counted.

Daigle says his wife didn't know how many he'd saved over the years -- she'd just laugh whenever he'd find a penny and tell her it was for the mortgage.

As the big day neared, Daigle says, he gave the mortgage company a heads up and they were "100% for it."

He tells the newspaper it became something he wanted to do, and "I always follow through."

His only worry: "I was just praying I didn't die first."

Why can't people just be grumpy?  Why does there have to be a label for it?

I hadn't realized this, but I guess I should have known:

"Team USA's biggest winner of the London Olympic Games may be the IRS.
Our Olympic medalists will rake in handsome rewards for representing their country, but they will also have to give a chunk back to Uncle Sam in taxes, notes the Americans for Tax Reform Foundation.
Under U.S. tax law, they must include the value of their Olympic medals and prizes in their taxable income. The precious metal in the medals is worth about $675 for gold, $385 for silver and under $5 for bronze. But medalists take in handsome cash prizes, too: $25,000 for gold, $15,000 for silver and $10,000 for bronze.
Assuming they're paying the top U.S. tax rate of 35%, that means Olympians would have to shell out $8,750 for winning gold, $5,250 for silver and $3,500 for bronze."  (dailyfinance.com)
