First survey revoked
« on: June 11, 2012, 04:08:05 pm »
I just received the following email:

"The advertiser for FC Survey: Summer Vacation Survey has revoked payment for your signup.  We have adjusted your account to remove the credit for FC Survey: Summer Vacation Survey and sincerely apologize for the inconvenience.

We are unable to provide compensation in the event of advertiser revocation.  Typically, advertisers revoke credit because they determined that you did not have a legitimate interest, or if they detect fraudulent activity such as the use of a pre-paid or un-billable credit card.  Payments are also revoked if you have signed up for the offer (or a similar one) in the past, as advertisers may consider such sign-ups to be duplicate and fraudulent.

FC Surveys are revoked for one of several possible reasons: your answers were rejected by the survey provider, or you completed the survey too quickly, or (in some cases) you were required to complete a second step (e.g. attend a focus group) and you failed to do so.

If you have any questions, please log in to your account and open a support ticket.

NOTE: This is a one-time notification email sent from an unmonitored email box.  Replies to this email will not be read."

I don't even remember taking this survey....it must have been before my decision to stop doing surveys.  Just reinforces my decision.... I am always honest and if some advertiser wants to "revoke" .50 or .80.... so be it.

One can lead a horse to water however, if one holds the horse's head under, that horse will drown.

I've had this happen to me before as well. I did a survey that had a product test to go with it. The survey reward was $5 and the product test was $20. Although I was paid for the test, my account was denied the $5 some weeks later. It was really frustrating to say the least. I inquired about it and they said that sometimes those aren't the answers they are looking for even if I'm answering honestly and the survery was 100% open for me to finish. I'm not sure if I understand the reasoning behind that to this day.

I've seen some people here ask if it's worth it to keep trying surveys if there's a risk that it will be revoked. Of course it's worth it, because you could be missing out on potention earnings! Lol.

That is so weird - to get the twenty bucks,  but have the credit revoked!  I've had credit revoked twice - but I have gotten credit eight other times.  So, the good outweighs the bad here!
End the suffering!  Get your cats - and all strays and ferals - spayed and neutered!
