patience
« on: June 09, 2012, 04:53:18 am »
Are you able to see things through to the finish?
Can you wait for an answer to a situation for years, months or days?
At what point in time do you lose patience.
I have been waiting months for something and I find that I need to "refresh myself" and determine to wait.
There are times when all you can do is wait; when the outcome is not in your control.

I can so appreciate everything you said about this subject. I, too, am dealing with the need to be patient and have faith right now. I renew my commitment to that each day in what for me is a difficult situation to do that.  For me, patience and faith have become very linked.  I have found that faith is easy when things are going well, but the true test of faith is when things are not.  Having the patience to wait things out and know everything will be fine if I keep my focus on the goal.  Good subject, thanks for your post.  Good luck with your plan and the patience to wait it out!

I am a patient person.  However, I know it is difficult to be patient as well.  Best wishes regarding your plan.  Have a great day!

For others, patience and "faith" are not linked because that would involve making false attributions.
One can lead a horse to water however, if one holds the horse's head under, that horse will drown.

I try to have patience. Some days are better than others and those days I try to step back and away from what is bothering me and focus on myself to let it go and move on with my day and if it's something that needs to be dealt with, deal with it on another day or time

I try to have patience, I have a goal set for myself to be able to retire at 50 years old but it seems like my savings account is NOT growing as fast and I would like it to do. I have tried to cut back on some spending but that still did not help. I am getting frustrated because I am impatient and want my IRA to have $10,000 in it before the end of this year.

I am able to see things through to the finish but I am not patient with it.  I'm usually very irritable waiting  for whatever desired outcome will happen.  It's hard for me not to have something immediately but rather wait an extraneous amount of time.  I guess its not one of my better traits.

That is something I am trying to work on. But now a days with the "everything quick and in a hurry" it is so hard to wait on or for anything. You sit at the light and don't release the brakes as soon as the light changes and she what happens.
