I don't know anything about pie crust, but homemade noodles you can make with regular flour and egg.  Pour flour on a clean surface, make a well in the center and add eggs.  Mix with your hands until you get a ball that looks like dough.  Sprinkle flour on a rolling pin or anything that can be used as a rolling pin.  Cut them into strips with a knife brushed with flour.  They should also be placed on paper towel and can be cooked when needed.  They take maybe 2-3 minutes tops to cook in boiling water, unlike dried noodles you find in a box.  HTH  :)

go to the crisco website  they have a recipe, when it says cold water make sure it's very cold like from the freezer and i put the made dough in the frig for at least an hour or longer so you work with cold dough.you can roll out the dough on wax paper or saran wrap don't work with the dough to much it will ruin the  pie.you can also try martha stewarts wesite she is the pro at this good luck

Oh heck just go to the grocery store and get ready make pie crust. It is just as good as home made. I used to make homemade all the time and have gotten lazy and use store bought most of the time now. Hubby dosen't know the difference and it safe me a lot of time and mess. When i used to cook for the ranch and farm hands i had to make homemade. Live 90 miles from a town where you could buy ready made. Fed between 5-15 depending what was going on. Now you know why i am lazy.

I use store bought too.  I will tell you something I did back in the 1970s and it was a huge hit at a church gathering I had at my house.  I had teenagers in the kitchen cooking these the whole time.  I'm talking about making donuts out of canned biscuits.  Just make a hole with a soy sauce cap (rinsed) and deep fry.  They are done in minutes.  Then you can use confectioners sugar or regular sugar with cinnamon mixed in to roll them in.  The possibilities are endless.

I love to cook, but with 5 boys ages 5 and under I make do with store bought, especially with things that take time to make from scratch.  pie crusts just happen to be one of those things. Store bought, ready made are quick, easy, and taste as good as homemade.
