FC Mall

Can someone please explain the FC Mall to me?  That seems to be the only part of the site I am ot understanding at this point.  Can I use accumulated money earned with surveys and the forum to shop at the mall?  Other than that the rest of Fusion Cash seems to be simple, straightforward, productive fun.  Please help me.

It's cash back shopping, similar to sites like eBates. The amount of cashback is listed below each merchant. So, say you were planning on making a purchase online at Sears.com. Instead of just going to the site, go in through the FusionCash mall. That way FC pays you back a little bit by crediting 1.2% of your before tax and shipping total to your account.

You use your own money; you can't use your balance to shop there.

Thank you so much, mawhite63.  It is great to have a forum in which we can ask and share and not be made to feel bad for being new or asking simplistic seeming questions.  Thank you for you truly helpful answer. I do now believe I better understand the point of the mall.  I thought I was saving cash earned to get items I saw in there.  Thank you, now I will know that it is okay to cash out when I can, instead of saving up for what would not have worked.

I think you also don't quite understand how to use the forum boards yet......it's important to get things posted in the correct board (section) heading

the easiest thing about the fc mall is that if you have the toolbar it automatically tracks the mall for you.  i did out taxes with HR block this year, didnt even think about the mall part of it, got a $2 credit because they were part of it without even knowing.  cant get much better than that!

Does anyone know how long it takes to be credited for using the fusion mall?
