Is customizing action figures worth your time?

I see lots of these going on ebay 4 very good prices. Is this worth the time, effort and money u have 2 put into it?

If you have the ability to make ones that are quality enough to sell on eBay I would reccommend doing a few, keeping track of your time, and sell them on eBay.  Once they sell, figure out how much money you made and then divide that by the number of hours it took to make the figures.  If your hourly rate is a decent one, then you have a good use of your time.  If it comes out to $2.00 an hour, unless you enjoy doing it as a hobby, it is a waste of your time.

Oh, I don't know about action figures, but I know my mother once thought about doing it with Barbie dolls. She purchased some pretty gorgeous ones and got inspired and bought supplies and naked dolls at yard sales - but she never went all the way to the point of selling her own, just kept them for her own collection.

Just be sure to take very good pictures and be descriptive. Good luck to you if you try it!
