Another tip I heard...
« on: May 25, 2012, 01:03:11 am »
Here is another tip I heard.

:star: :star: Area rugs that do not stay in place :star: :star:

I heard if you put strips of silicone on the bottom and corners.. they will stay in place.

Now... I am not exactly sure what silicone comes in... but I understand the idea.

**we have a great rug in our kitchen... but the darn thing keeps flipping up when my 87yr old mother in law tries to walk in the kitchen.  Now she loves the carpet... and doesn't want to get rid of it... because it was in her house until she moved in with us... so I have been trying to figure out how to fix this.  I do not want to tape it down or glue it.. because I still have to clean the floor..

This seems to be the answer!

So I will let you know what I find out when I get to the hardware store and try it out.

Has anyone tried this or anything else to help things from not slipping??  :dontknow:

Feedback would be wonderful!!!

Well Falcon... I tried to delete...

I was going to move it to where I THOUGHT I posted it.

Can't do anything now... and yes that is aggravating... but again... I thought I was in off topic

I'm not sure why that's glitching for you but, I just removed my replies here as a test and that worked so ... dunno.  It's not that crucial and this can all be considered an 'offer' of unpaid/unsolicited advice.  Cool?   :-X
One can lead a horse to water however, if one holds the horse's head under, that horse will drown.
