Wouldn't sharing underwear be a bit worse, (re: bowling shoes, for instance)?  

Hrmm ... the one thing I wouldn't share ... knowledge of future events would have to be it, (wouldn't want to spoil the ending).  ;->

Well TO ME PERSONALLY, no because you see the sock protects the foot from.....well, everything else....now you see you can share the shoe as long as you're not barefoot and you have socks on, but the moment someone else's nasty foot touches anything my foot is touching other than the ground, then there's problems

The one thing I do not like to share is my laptop computer. There are too many things that can go wrong. Think about it.

It's a 'funny' thing that some couples will share a toothbrush at times, (because hey, they're 'swapping spit' anyway), while others won't, (no spit-swapping anymore?).  Underwear aside, (that's a preferrred mode for "whoopie"), I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one whose had women in their lives walk around the house wearing their man's shirts and nothing more before - whether washed or unwashed.
