Verifying my check
« on: May 23, 2012, 12:43:26 am »
Help! Just a minute ago, I called the # to verify my check & I got a message that the # I called does not exist! Will this prevent me from depositing my check? I plan to do that task this week. What should I do?  :dontknow: :crybaby2: :crybaby2: :crybaby2: :crybaby2: :crybaby2::crybaby2:

I only got one check from Fusion Cash. That was my first payment over two years ago. I did not have to verify my check. I am confused as to what you are talking about. Are you talking about your check from Fusion Cash for last month's cashout? Or is this a check having to do with a client from tasks?  :dontknow:  :dontknow:

I'm confused too. I got checks a bunch of times and never had to verify. What is this for?

You can call the phone number printed on the bottom left of the check if you want to verify it.
This feature is provided mostly for bank tellers & check cashing shop employees to make them more likely to accept the check.

Neither you as a member, nor the bank teller/employee accepting your check, is required to call and verify.  It's simply there for you if you want to be reassured.

With all of that said, I don't know why you got an 'invalid number' message.  You have to enter the whole check number (5 digits) and the entire check amount (e.g. $30.50 would be keyed as simply "3050").  Maybe you can try it again?  Regardless, your check as printed is certainly valid, and in fact our bank already has the check number/amount on file in their system, ready for acceptance.

Administrator/FC, thanks for your quick response. I was just able to successfully verify my check this afternoon. The first time I called it was 3am, so I'm guessing that I called during a time the system is down. Anyway, THANKS!!!!! :notworthy: :) :) :) :) No more crying today! :D :D :D :D ;D ;D ;D ;D
