I'm not sure if I would call it "trolling" or not...still, it's really lame to go "talking about other FC members" in threads that they hadn't posted in yet causing this thread to go off topic.
According to usage, that's essentially what "trolling" is, (which was why Kohler pointed that out to "cubboo" specifically and FC members, generally).
It's ironic how people can be given an "ignore" button and still NOT be able to get along peacefully...
As another FC member pointed out previously; that isn't actually "ironic", it's more hypocritical.
...unless it really isn't being used. If it isn't, then to say so is "lying". (Anyone need a Bible verse as to where liars go?)
No 'verses' are needed to determine the available options in this context. Either the "ignore button" is being used and the user is continuing to
not ignore by making trolling posts
about the one they're not ignoring or ... they are using the button and not trolling or making any comments about the one they're ignoring. The remaining option is to
claim that they've used the ignore button while they keep right on posting about the one they're not ignoring, (that would be the lying option you mentioned).
Then there's this scenario: Last year I had a cat named Tony. He loved to "aggravate" the dog (named Gypsy). Gypsy would end up trying to pick him up in her mouth and as she was trying to get a good grip on him...he'd be "yelling, hollering" and sounded like he was being "martyred". I was worried he was getting hurt and I made Gypsy leave him alone. I picked Tony up and carried him into another room. As soon as I put Tony down, he left the room and went right back after Gypsy only to start the "sounds of martyrdom" all over again. He loved being "roughed up".
I'm thinking there's some on FC that actually enjoy falcon9 "roughing them up" since they keep constantly going back for more.
Ack, xtian masochists - sounds like an oxymoron, (the definition of is
not listed as "dumb cattle" - I checked way back when I was 12).
