I would rather go to a movie in the theater if I could afford it. The smell of the popcorn is worth the trip. The sound is better and the screen is bigger.

The cost of a trip to the movies X 5 has really taken any fun out of it, so I have to say I prefer a dvd or two and creating a great movie experience at home.

dvd at home theaters have become obnoxious people who talk thru the whole movie screaming children I'll take my large tv and pause button anytime

I would rather enjoy a movie at a theater but due to the expense of going there, I will wait till it comes out on DVD to enjoy it at home.

I don't go to movies any more because it's too expensive.  I'd rather get a DVD from RedBox and even those went up.

It depends...If there's a movie I really really want to see, then I'll go to the theater to see it on the big-screen.

Depends on the movie! For ex. Harry Potter films are more fun to watch on a large screen.  The more special effects a movie has, the more likely I will be to go to a theater to see it.  We mostly watch movies at home though due to cost of taking two kids to see movies (tickets, parking, popcorn, kids friends, etc)

going to the movies cost so much now, unreal just to get popcorn. i had rather stay home, wear my jammies and be comfy with my own popcorn and drink

Depends on what the movie is and how badly I want to see it.  Also, depends on money, whether I have some or not.

Definitely watch it at home.  I can still take a potty or snack break and not miss any of the movie.  LOL

It depends on what kind of movie it is. Some movies are just better on the big screen.
