I have had some experience with this and you are doing exactly the right thing.  If you negotiate this at all you will not help your husband and your life will be as unmanageable as his.  The only way for an addict to get help is to make the choice. If you alter what you are doing the addict part of him will used that to stay in limbo.  It is a far more loving thing to do for both of you to say if you are doing drugs than no relationship. if he gets help and sustains his goal toward that then of course support him.  But not before.  Good luck to you!

I don't think meth can cause a person to be bipolar but it's possible to aggravate the condition.

We've dealt with my youngest sister's addictions for many decades, ever since she was a teenager
