Why is this funny

Why is it funny to cause someone else pain? I don't understand the need to do it and when it is brought to the attention of the other person all they do is laugh. Why? I don't get the point. What am I missing here? Thanks for letting me vent.

Some people are very immature.  There will be one day that they will look back on the incident and feel very ashamed.

Some people are vicious and vile. Remove yourself quickly from the sight of people like that. Those types of people are the ones who cause harm in the world. They are full of hatred towards others and generally for no reason. Pray for them they are diseased and nothing but an act of God can cure them. Be at peace you have no part with that kind of sickness, just stay away from people like that don't let them poison you.

It's insecurity. And a cruel, thoughtless nature.

They are probably that way because they have been hurt themselves and just want someone else to feel the pain that they have felt.
