I have nice memories of a few camping trips.
ILLINOIS - TENNESSEE - EVEN POLAND[ when I was there with college students 20 years younger than me].
Being out close to nature and in harmony with it is a fresh feeling, the early morning dew.
I liked being in the woods.

I love Poland, but I didn't get to go camping there. I spent most of my time in Kutno and Kraków.
Camping is great, I usually stay on campgrounds because you never know what you will stumble upon in the wild.

Camping is awesome.  I came very close to doing it full time at one point in my life.  It does require a lot of work and organization.  My BFF and I have camped with our kids before and one thing she did that was just an awesome idea was buy one of those rubbermaid tubs.  She kept everything as far as staples went in there.  Than she took a clear plastic sheet and taped it to the inside lid.  Slipped a piece of paper and pen in it.  Whenever we ran out of something we just jot it down on the list...than the item was replaced and thrown back in the tub.  She was so good she even kept a clothes line in there.  Have a fun time.

It's true, always end up working extra hard before and after a vacation. But what would life be without a little vacation every now and then. Hope you enjoy yours!

I hate how it takes a day of travel just to get to the travel destination.  I wish transportation was speedier.  You waste a day of your vacation time with merely the departure and  the arrival and that it the most miserable/stressful part!   :- All this talk about vacation really makes me want to go on one right now.  Have a good time on your trip.

personally i think the best way to vacation is tell everyone that you're going somewhere, lock all your doors, turn your lights out, cut your phone off and enjoy your solitude in your own home lol
