R.I.P *bleep* Clark
« on: April 18, 2012, 01:29:12 pm »
*bleep* Clark dead today at 82 years old.  I still have fond memories of American Bandstand every Saturday when I was a kid.  So many musicians have him to thank for the success they have had.

Hey i know who you mean, and yes he helped a lot of young singers get a break and make big. He was an icon to my generation anyway. I grew up with watching him on american bandstand.

Well, you could've said "Richard" since he was born as Richard Wagstaff Clark. ("Wagstaff?", that's a new one)
One can lead a horse to water however, if one holds the horse's head under, that horse will drown.

I would've done that but I came to the sudden realization that quite a few people would have no idea whom I was referring to.  I'm surprised we didn't get bleeped for Wagstaff...funny   :P

Good catch, "Wagstaff" was too subtle to be caught by the automated censor program.  His parents must have had some sense of humor when naming their son, (imagine if their last name was "Johnson" or, "Weiner").

Yep, not close enough to b<br>ung I suppose.  What's causing me to chuckle about the bleeping is that, (like the late night talkshow with the "unecessary bleeping"), that could be interpreted as a completely different 'curse word' being bleeped out.

LOL Mung  ;D

"mung":

"The one thing worse than genocide. One must first have no shame. Then he/she must use a newspaper to find the obituary of a recently deceased man or woman. Then must find a buddy, with no shame, who will aid them in this act. The partners then go to the cemetary where they dig up their victim, and flip a coin. The loser, (or winner depending on how sick you are), applies his/her lips to the genitals or anus of the corpse, while the other partner procedes to climb the nearest tombstone and elbow drop the corpse's stomach. Thus forcing out a blend of rich bodily fluids and embalming materials onto the partners. This blend is called mung. The act of getting this blend on your face is called munging. Chicks'll dig this one."
