Eating bananas

When you peel a banana, do you also peel off the strings that cling to the banana, or do you also eat them?  I always peel every one of them off.  I guess they are edible, but I don't want them.

For the most part I peel those off too. But I've also eaten if they're still attatched to the banana.

I'm pretty picky about that kind of stuff.  I peel the strings from bananas, all of that thick stuff on an orange under the peel and I almost have to eat a boiled egg at the sink with the water running so I don't get any little pieces of shell when I take a bite

I peel them off too but you know other ppeople have this saying when we were kids.... if you open the banana by hAVING 3 PEELS COME OFF  they believe it's the style of the monkey or maybe they were just saying it to make fun of the kids lol....

Peel them out or eat them  but I don't like strings on my bananas.

um, they usually fall off when i peel it.
if they don't, i must not notice them anyway

I dont really pay attenchen when I the string but sometimes they fall anyways

I most definitely peel the strings off as well when I eat a banana, I always have done that.
