Is thie World Going to End This December?

According to the Bible, no one knows.  According to Mayans yes.  My opinion is no!  If the world is ending its because of our own stupidity.  If it ends like in the movie Melancholia, I can't say that I am freaked out.  People are so selfish, greedy and just plain thoughtless.  I just ask that the end of the world be painless.  I wish we could all start over, wipe out credit scores, erase past mistakes and make everyone equal.  Or separate the people that consistently cause harm to the world putting them on a Mars with a pseudo-ecosystem while the remaining people clean up the mess and try to make this planet better.

There is only one thing for sure........... If the world does not end in December; another date will surely be set!  Someone will come up with a "brilliant" excuse and just set another date!   Now that is something you can bet money on!  It is a sure thing!

Only God knows when the world will end.. IF its soon then at least i know im going to heaven.. HOPE everyone else is to.

I guess the bottom line is that if the world ends on Dec 21 we won't be around on Dec 22 to know if they were right anyway ...

I don't know when the world will end but we should be spiritually ready for Christ's return to this earth.

well it will be december 21 st in australia first so we will see then..lol.. i dont think it will ,but only god nows when.

I respect everyones opinion, but everyday someones world ends (sad to say). And we are extinguishing our own kind. People killing eachother, rapes, kidnapping, traffic on human life, children, mothers.That to counts as the end of the world for just one person. I believe in everything u can imagine, but when you're time runs out, you're out. Just live you're life like there's no tommorrow

I have no DOUBT in my mind that the world will end, but i'm not going to believe 1000 year old astronomers who may/may not have ties with aliens (if they exist) that the world will end on their "watch" hehheh ....watch get it???

The Mayan Calender doesn't count leap years so technically it has already ended

I don't think so...and from the most recent discoveries and closer looks at the Mayan calendar...it doesn't say it will end.  The calendar just stops.  I think that the Mayan's just got tired of writting the calendar and decided that since they probably wouldn't be around they figured that someone else could pick up where they left off.  The world will end some day, but noone, but God, knows when.  So I say live your lives and enjoy yourselves and be as good as you can be.

My concerns are more on if I will have a regular paying job come December then on if the world will come to an end. If something like that was to happen, why worry about it? Can't do anything to stop it.
