simple google task

I did 2 simple google task for 0.50 each and 1 for 1 cent but I only got 3 cents total whats the problem someone answer

I had the same problem....I did all four of the "Simple Google Search" tasks (2 for .50 and 2 for .01) and only got 3 cents. I noticed while I was doing the first one that the meter at the top was progressing slowly, as if there was going to be more to do in that one particular task, but then it said I was finished. So I moved on to the next one and it did the same thing. After I finished the second 1-center is when I got the 3 cents. 

I went to CrowdFlower's community support forum to report the problem. Really doubting that I'll get an answer as I've only received one reply out of MANY problems reported and that one wasn't even resolved. 

Maybe it's just me, but lately the tasks seem to be having a lot of issues....never had this many problems before!!

I also had the same issue it does seem as the task have a lot of issues as of late I'm sure it was not meant to be 50 cents but when it says 50 cents than that is what you should be paid not less ...........I also got one cent

You people are confused. It doesn't say 50 cents. It says 0.50 cents. It's only worth half a penny.

Agree with deathx88....got my my $0.03.  woo hoo.  Love doing the "human intelligence tasks" ....although some tasks can be long and confusing.

That may be true, but not in this case. Crowdflower lists their earning in cents. If it was 50 cents then it would just say 50 cents, but it says "0.50 cents" which means half a penny.

Oh wow, deathx88 is right!! Those 2 ARE only worth a half a penny each! It does look rather deceiving when you first look at it.....I thought they were 50 cents. Well, now I know that I got the intended credit....whew!!

i had the same problem too, i tried unlock the cookies. but some survey that i completed still showing the same problems. don't know why.

Tasks listed for "0.50 cents" are for a HALF a cent. NOT FIFTY cents.  So if you do two tasks for .5, you get 1 cent.
