Ms/Mr. Universe?
« on: April 06, 2012, 02:31:13 am »
:male:/ :female:? A transgender person was allowed to join the Ms. Universe pageant & the response is divide. If you were a " :female:," contestant going against "her," do you think that it's fair? These people that change their body form, do so b/c they feel they were born in the wrong body. Personally, I understand why this person would change but I don't think that it would be fair for the natural born females b/c "she," basically got a total remodeling of her whole body. I could understand a boob, butt lift, or nip & tuck here or there but in this world where women are already judged by their looks, now we have to battle against some1 fresh out of the barbie remodeling factory.  I feel for this person but I don't think it's fair.  :dontknow:   Am I being a real *bleep* about this?                            What do you think?

I think transgender women should be allowed to compete.  Natural hotness usually wins out over fake body parts, anyway.

There is nothing wrong with transgender competing and I hope she wins too.

I'm sure all of the women in that competition are completely plastic, so she will not have an advantage in that sense.

I thought that it was crazy when I read that a synthetically enhance individual of the opposite sex was allowed to compete in an all women's pageant.  There are contests for every group out there.  Other than publicity why would this man go to such great lengths to enter a woman's pageant.  There are separate body building contests for those that do it naturally and those who choose to fake their way through it with steroids and implants.  I am sure that there is a beauty contest for men who believe that they were born as a woman in a man's body.  Allowing this to happen will open up the rules to anyone who believes they would look good as a woman.

I strongly believe that for Ms. Universe it should be natural born women,..... it's not fair for the women to be competing with transgenders... don't get me wrong i'm not being judgemental or a hater as a matter of fact i have alot of gay friends but the thing is maybe they should just make another contest like ms transgender universe.. after all the essence of being a woman is being a real woman.... :peace:

On the list of things that we consider as 'wrong',  Ithink who is and is not, allowed to compete in this contest, is the bottom of the list. The whole contest is about looks and vanity, so I say let anyone compete. The title is nothing but show.
