Once you become aware of time (for me around twelve/thirteen years of age), that's when it seems to move quickly. Sometimes we can slow it down by being aware that we don't have to get our work or school day over with as soon as possible.

time goes by so quickly most of the time and others it goes by slowly
ın fact time is relative, I mean if you have good time, enjoying then you feel like it goes fast. or for example if you have an exam, the time is never enough. but if you are in class, the time never passes, unfortunately. If you feel that time goes fast, probably you have really good time, or you have lots of things to do.

I use to think that time went slowly, until I had my first child, next thing I knew I had two more, the oldest is starting school this fall, then his brothers, time is now going so fast, that I would give almost anything to have it slow down a bit, so that I can enjoy my boys. Before time makes men out of them.

I think the reason time is going by so fast is because we are getting older and the older you get the faster times flies.  When you are young time goes by slowly and I guess maybe it seems that way, but live each day like it is your last day on earth.

You've hit the nail directly on the head.  When someone is five years old, a year is one-fifth of the time they've been alive and that 365 days is experienced as proportional 'longer' than for someone who is fifty years old, (when a year is only one tenth of the time they've experienced and seems to pass more quickly in ratio).

Then again, they say time flies when you're having fun so that would mean that the elderly are ecstatic.
One can lead a horse to water however, if one holds the horse's head under, that horse will drown.

Humm that kind of interesting.  When you getting old time go by fast?..  I don't know because I'm still young right now to feel that way.  But when I'm busy of happy I think time went by very quick.
