We dye a dozen and I make deviled eggs to go with the Easter ham. It's still fun to write on the eggs with a white wax pencil before dying them to make patterns and label with the kids names. They get a kick out of that.

It's been so long since I've dyed eggs, but I used to LOVE to do it! I would try to stripe the egg with all sorts of different colors, but I was particularly attached to blue! It's still my favorite color, actually!

Last year we died about 12, only because no one at my mother in laws house really eats them. I love boiled eggs. My aunt used to take part of them and make deviled eggs. Last year we did blow out eggs though. You put wax on parts of the egg then dip it to get a design. It is great!  :D

I used to do easter eggs, as a kid. Come to think of it, I do miss those days coloring eggs and finding them in the grass.

:P Used to dye eggs ofcourse when my sons were young but got out of it as they got older.  But you know what?  I just may dye eggs this year just for the fun of it  I guess my favorite color to dye eggs would be pink because that is kind of my favorite color but I like them all, yellow, green, blue.

I dye eggs every year for my granddaughters. They are 7 and 10 and they still like to hide the eggs.Mostly they like to eat the different colored eggs afterwards.I always liked the blue colors.

I have my kids draw on the eggs with crayon then dye them. They add stickers, etc. Fun, fun... :star: :star: :star: :star:

I used to boil about a dozen eggs - crack the shell - dip them in different food colorings - let them dry - carefully peel off the shell - and WALLAH! boiled, marble-looking eggs! My favorite color is turquoise

We usually boil about a dozen or so and let the kids dye them different colors. This year I think we're gonna do stickers on them instead.
