Would it be nice to get paid to share your stories??

Wouldn't it be nice to share your story and just earn an income out of it?? What are your thoughts?

Isn't that possible now, assuming the stories are interesting enough and one can put the words to paper in a sufficient manner?  I think I could possible profit from some of the stories I have, and even if I told them honestly without the traditional embellishments I feel necessary when I typically reveal some of them.
