No, a 'magical blood sacrifice for mystical purposes' isn't the same same donating life-saving plasma to the living. (or to selling blood plasma for that matter)

I tried to give blood a couple of times, but I have small rolling veins.  They sent me home.  If I have to give some blood for medical testing, they have a very hard time finding a vein that doesn't collapse.  I usually warn them ahead of time so they can be prepared. 

I went through a phase where I was donating blood every 2 months, which is as often, as they allow.  I felt good about doing it.  I understand it's healthy to give a pint of blood....

and you also bless the life of someone else who might need it.

I gave blood years ago I have not done sense I am a diebitic so I don't now if I can know.

I used to every two months (when it's allowed) or so, but haven't lately (almost two years), feel bad, just have had bad luck with days it's been available......it can be scary though....luckily i've never had any issues (did feel sick a couple times so decided against it)...

I have given blood many times over the years.  It is very easy to do.

Lately, it seems that the bloodmobile is in town when I am at work and I have missed it.

I donate blood and plasma (though not at the same time  ) and i have the same trouble. eat well the night before and get super-hydrated. that always helps me.

With all the viruses and germs out there pertaining to blood transfusions it ought to be outlawed.
