I love her as a singer but that song doesn't really make sense to me. I even watched the video, cause sometimes that helps. Parts of it I just don't get, and I'm a military wife. Since the guy was in the military you would think that would be easier? People don't make fun or poke at anyone dating or married to military, so I don't get where it is coming from. Some times some songs just need to be explained. Maybe you can help me with it?

sometimes i like songs that don't pertain to me, but this one is about how people will always try to judge your relationship and try to tell you that it's wrong, but since they don't truly know either of you their opinions don't matter.

I get more of that from my hubbies family than strangers, so I guess that is why it didn't click. I just tend to ignore people like that. It's better for your health.

I admit that I probably like Taylor as much as my 10 year old daughter. Listening to her lyrics takes me back to my teens and early twenties without having to go through the pain again. It is amazing how she can put to words the feelings of young women!
