Newbie Question regarding Surveys
« on: March 09, 2012, 09:01:50 am »
Hi Everyone, I just came across this site yesterday and so far I love it!

I tried to take all of the surveys, but only qualified for one -- is that normal?   I'll keep trying, but I'm starting to think that my age (57) and the fact that we don't have kids at home is that problem.  Any other "oldies" out there?  Am I missing something?

Thanks!

Qualifying surveys depends on your area and age and gender amongst other things. I hardly ever qualify for surveys so i dont waste the time trying them. I mainly do the paid to click the daily email and watch videos. I also post in the forum to earn a bonus and do the contests. Plus,it helps to have refferals. Any other questions please just ask. Thee are lots of people here looking to help new comers like yourself! :)

Age is a significant demographic for many surveys -- and based on my experience, the older you get, the more limited the surveys will be for you to qualify.

I'm over 65 -- and I find that if I qualify for 1 in 10 surveys, I'm doing well.   The DQ's usually don't take long, but the time still adds up.  I've found that surveys about financials, health, insurance and buying a new car are surveys I qualify for most.  Occasionally I qualify for ones about foods and snacks.

I don't try the surveys every day.  Some of the sites will walk you through the same surveys you didn't qualify for yesterday.  Some seem able to keep track of those you saw before and only offer you new ones.  Once a week seems to give me enough new surveys to check out and a reasonable possibility of getting one to qualify for.

58 and divorced here. Yeah surveys are like that. I get 3-5 per week these days. Just keep trying and be patient. Sometimes thats hard to do because of repetition and boredom. But patience pays off.

I guess your demographics play a part in qualifying.  But I have only qualified for surveys maybe once or twice a week if i'm lucky, which is probably why i don't do many of them. Still I'm able to get $25 - $30 every other month w/ doing so little surveys.  But sometimes I just don't have the patience to try cuz I don't get to finish very many of them. Anyway good luck to you and hope you have better luck than me  :)
