Take a breather from cash earnings is only sound don't you think?

There are times when I need to take a breather from earning cash online. It helps me to contemplate how I'm balancing my free time and also taking time to appreciate the other free things in life like 'a smile'  After some time has elapsed I return to online cash earning.

I keep myself to a schedule. It's not set in stone, because life gets in the way, but I tend to do the same thing every day. I do my easy earnings like PTC, paid emails and videos first thing in the morning, then take a break to do my housework and pay bills if they are due. Once that's all done, I go back to work again on MTurk until I hit my daily goal, and then I'll do marketing surveys at other sites.

I usually do about 8 hours per day, just like I was in an office, between housework and earning. On the weekends I just do the minimum. I'll do the daily activities here and my PTC sites, but then weekends are too busy to do anything else.

I agree it's good to have a balance. It's very easy to get burnt out, so you need some time away from the computer. But I don't take too long of a break. It's very easy to fall out of a routine.

If you heavily rely on online earnings for extra income, taking a break is not advised.  It's very, very easy to become lazy in such an unstructured environment.  And when you're not working, you're not earning.

I only allow myself to do Fusion Cash during the week, from 8ish til 4 just those 5 days a week.  I also participate in a website which gives points for listening to music, and points will equal cash.  That site I do leave up 24/7, but it doesn't require interaction.  I so agree that sometimes you have to take a break.  Maybe it's not a full week vacation, but sometimes the tasks do get exhausting and you just gotta walk away and come back another time.

I think taking a break is healthy. At a certain point, the amount of free time you use exceeds the value of the cash you earn here. I try to not exceed a certain amount of time doing this each day, and it usually works out okay. I end up with a little extra cash, and don't burn away every minute of my time.
