Well, I have an advantage because I know Janet from other sites and we've been in several businesses together so I can say without a doubt that she's  kind soul who's a lot of fun to know even though we disagree A LOT about what type of weather is best   

Asami, I've been in college on the mainland and in Hawaii (years ago) and Hawaii is the best.  Enjoy your time there and make the most of your advantages.

I'm retired and live with my husband in western Missouri.  We spend most of our time on the internet.  We both retired due to health issues so we can't do a whole lot but we volunteer at a local shelter (at the cat house), babysit some neighborhood kids after school and give a bulldog up the street a potty break during the day when her mom is at work.  We watch birds and other local critters in our spare time

I like you Kay am retired(sort of).My husband is on disability and I quit in 2001 to be a stay at home grandmother.I now have 2 beautiful granddaughters ages 7 and 10.I stay on the computer alot also.I love it.Husband not so much.He does get on Photoscape and decorate pictures he downloads

dwggs.. I was sort of offended by your first 3 statements as even though I love kitties, I am allergic to them and I "get along" with dogs better. Then I saw you also had a dog and I was glad to hear I'm happy to learn that you're an animal lover like myself. Animal lovers are always, good-hearted, kind people.

Hello!  My name is Vic and I'm 47 years old.  I retired 3 years ago from the US Air Force after serving 27 years.  I loved my career, but decided instead of moving on to another job that I would actually STAY retired and enjoy being with my fiance, my kids and travel (I'm in Thailand and come back to my home in Iowa in early April).  Plus, I like a whole lot of being lazy!
