Samplicious Disqualifications *at the end* of Surveys?
« on: February 25, 2012, 03:42:38 pm »
In keeping with FusionCash's 'golden rule' of avoiding disparaging derogatory remarks regarding advertisers, I will not say, "This offer sucks!" or "This offer is a scam!"

However...I merely want to remark on the obvious pattern that occurs whenever taking a Samplicious initiated survey - You take the entire survey, having answered ALL the questions about a product or service, then at the end they throw in a "Sorry you do not qualify for this survey."

Sorry--but I beg to differ. I just answered their entire survey...minus one buck. Is this disparaging? Is it derogatory? or simply stating the blatant truth?

I read searched prior posts to see if others had tried to complete a survey from them and experienced any similar issues or being dropped before pay-out. It appears that I'm not alone in this.

Number one, most surveys ask about personal stats *prior* to see if you are a fit for their product/service, *then*, THEN commence with the questionnaire. That's fair and perfectly legit to ask any question conceivable *before* asking anything about the product or service. However, if a survey asks all these relevant questions including your age, household income, etc, states that you qualify for the survey, you take the entire survey, then they cut you off at the end stating "Sorry you do not qualify...,"??? Need I state the obvious? That's just plain wrong.

For one survey I took, the last question was, "What is your birth year?" then just like that, *bam* I'm out. That ain't right. The issue *is*...they already got my age in the initial screening, so why cut me off *after* I completed their survey with an irrelevant question that they already know? Am I supposed to think, 'oh, well--Next'? How many 100's or 1000's of people are taking surveys and getting cut off? That's an awful lot of single dollar bills per person.

It. just. ain't. right.

Yup I've run into the same issue. It looks like Sampleicious's questionnaires are a bit questionable.

I've done about 4 of them and haven't qualified for one yet.

 you are exactly right on point. it has happened to me. like you say i understand the preliminary questions on most surveys to qualify a certain type of people, but once you spend ten or fifteen minutes answering questions on a product or service the not get credit is b. s. but what can we do about it?

I always take the My Thought Counts Survey here on Fusion Cash, because it always credits and have never been told toward the end of the survey that i do not qualify for the survey, but i have had bad experiences with other surveys.

Oh i've always found this so freaking annoying.  I have done several surveys for them where i have gone through the preliminary questions and then went into the middle of the survey and then it goes back to an ending set of demographic questions then says i don't qualify.

Thats why I dont bother with surveys. I hardly ever qualify for one so I just dont bother. I figure if Im not gonna qualify its just a waste of time and I could be doing something I know is gonna make me money. But some people are able to qualify alot. Must be the region Im in or my age.

I flat out refuse to do their surveys. I completed one, got the how did you like doing this survey and related questions page, answered those questions and it said something to the effect that I was Disqualified or their quota was full for my demographics. That was a month or so ago. I told FC that I think they should not have Samplicious any more because it will drive people away.

You can find me on Youtube!

I refuse to do any Samplicious survey and have personally come to the conclusion that it is a sham as far as surveys go.

I dont blame FC about this at all because after all they do I know they care about their members. But with that being said i do not see why they still have this company. It seems everyone has this problem. I hope the admin will see this thread and give us an insight. Or maybe they will get the insight.

I just completed an FC daily Survey and after completing the entire survey which took me about 45 minutes I was brought to the FC window that told me I didn't qualify. ??? I finished it. I know it isn't FC's fault however, no survey company should have taken 45 minutes of my time to tell me I didn't qualify. That is just wrong imo.
Oh well, I learned my lesson...I will just find other things to participate in at FC.

Edited to add: I am happy to report that I was credited for that survey. I am thinking there must have been a glitch in the software or something that kicked me back to that window.

I totally understand your frustration. However, that is simply the nature of surveys. I have completed well over 100 surveys, and I have only experienced your situation a few times. The companies group people according to answer and if their quota for a group is filled the survey ends. There are some survey sites that offer a partial credit, so you do have options if you run into the above situation again. All I can suggest is expect to encounter a few of these and keep on trying or use your discretion on which companies you work with. It is possible to make a good amount of money from surveys alone once you can come to terms with the fact that you will get disqualified for many, some will disqualify you near the end and you wont get credit, and some might have technical difficulties preventing you from getting credit. Overall I have been given credit for over 90%.  :icon_rr:

You can find me hanging out on Google :)

Are the daily surveys broken today. I can't seem to access any of them?

Thanks

This has happened to me, too--key in all this information and then they disqualify you.

They have it set up so that they don't have to pay you a cent after they get your info such as your email address, once they have that, they have no more use for you and never have to pay.  How FC condone this is beyond me.  Everybody is in it for the bucks.
