Which is one is easier to raise? A teenage boy or a teenage girl? I have both and I have to say I had less trouble with my son when he was 16 than I do with my daughter.  :BangHead:

Planting either one too deep makes them difficult to raise overall, however, girls seem tougher to wrangle than boys.
One can lead a horse to water however, if one holds the horse's head under, that horse will drown.

I do not have any daughters but my mother had 5 sons and then two daughters. She said it was easier raising the five sons than two daughters. :)

I do not have any children of my own ... but have 2 nieces who are now 19 and 21.

I have to say ... they are great kids .. no trouble at all even in the difficult teenage years.

I raised 1 son and 2 daughters. I would have to say girls are more difficult.

I didn't have a girl but my parents had a harder time raising me than my brother. My daddy would call me wild Child and sometimes he didn't know how right he was.  :)

I only have 1 child that is a girl. She is 28 yrs. old now, but she was fairly easy to raise. We had our issues, but overall I would say pretty easy. :female:

My mom & dad had 6 kids. An even  3 girls & 3 boys, what I've observed growing up was alot of double standards in which the boys got a way with alot of things. So, we made life hell for mom. She's the one who hovered & gave the boys the breaks & let them do anything they want like stay out at all hrs. While we girls had to be good little ladies. Right! & Mom couldn't understand why we sneak out at night to play. It's the parents fault for not treating their female & male kids equally. Our youngest brother was by far the worst. Probably b/c mom & dad already gave up & expected us kids to take over! I mean he got away with everything! I don't have kids but w/my experience w/growing up in large family, I think it's harder to raise girls esp. when they reach the teenage yrs than boys. Probably b/c they are over the hating boys phase & start chasing boys. I think that parents should teach, raise their girls& boys equally. So, that there will no confusion on how kids act.

I would agree that a teenage girl would be slightly harder. Girls are just harder to raise then boys. But you do have those boys that are trouble.

Right now my son is 13 and going through that stage of "I'll do what I want when I want" but is getting better every day.  But my 12 year old daughter (who will be 13 in October) is in the attitude phase and let me tell you, I hate this stage.  It gets scary talking to her with all that attitude  :o
