I've gotten a few product testing surveys that I qualified for, and I admit I really like doing them.  I've done facial tissue, toilet paper, acne face wash, feminine pads and sausage testing.  (The sausage was very yummy!)

On top of the free stuff, I get the extra money incentive for completing it.  Haven't gotten lucky enough to receive $125 for evaluating pizza - if anyone knows where I can sign up for that one - just point me in the right direction - LOL!  ;D

Product testing is awesome.  I've just recently begun doing it myself.  I think it's awesome to receive products and get paid for them.  Especially when I can use them to feed my family or put it to use in the household.  It saves me $$$ I would have spent on a product anyway...I get to try new things and I'm rewarded with cash or points.  Sooo cool for a house manager.  I wish I had known about opportunities like this years ago.

For those people who are asking how to do product testing - the opportunities come with different surveys. They're rare but they come up from time to time. I'm pretty sure the kitty litter product test was a FusionCash survey. Also go over to the offers tab and if the Valued Opinions offer is still there sign up with them. The product test I'm doing right now came through a VO survey. BTW Valued Opinions is legit - I cashed out with them last month

Thanks for the info, mawhite.

I signed up for Valued Opinions but haven't done much with them so far. I will have to start doing their surveys and hope that some better opportunities like product testing present themselves.

I have never tried product testing, but would like to know how to get started?

I would also be curious how to start product testing.

As mawhite said, these come from doing surveys that lead to product tests. And sometimes you won't know until you've completed or almost completed a survey that it leads to a product test.
Also, there are a lot of different survey sites that you can get into some of these surveys/product tests through.

Also, as mawhite said, "few and far between"- so they aren't available all the time. I started doing surveys a little over a year ago, and I've just been doing product test surveys lately. (Although that doesn't mean that there wasn't some I just missed out on). But now I've gotten quite a few products to test in the last month or two.
Just keep doing surveys and keep hoping!!

How come it won't play?

I am a member of valued opinions as well and do get some product testing opportunities from them. The litter was through another site though. :)

I love product testing! I recently received a soda survey with 6 cans of soda to try and report on. Other products I have been sent to test include mac and cheese, soup, lotion, shampoo and conditioner, feminine pads, razers... That is all i can think of, but i am sure there have been others.

Do you have any experience with product testing? What products have you been sent to try?
I've never done it. Who are you doing it for?

Google JediJohnnie and May the Force be with you!

I'm on some survey sites that do product testing, but I've never been chosen to do it. Hopefully one of these days. Sounds fun.

I've done several product tests for different survey sites that I'm a member of. Around the end of last year I had three or four going at once. I've done dental products, feminine products, deodorant, and a few more that I don't remember. I think the more you participate in the surveys the more likely they are to send you product tests.

Wow, that sounds great. I would love to have the opportunity to test a product.

I also get excited over free things. This is sad but true, i ordered some stuff from walmart and they threw in some free samples and I was more excited over that than what I ordered. lol.
