Foreign cars are better, they are usually more efficient and last longer.

I own a 2002 Isuzu with almost 100k miles on it so I'd have to say foreign has treated me great and hope it will for a few more years. However this is the first car I ever bought so I don't have anything else to compare it too. I am thinking though that my next car will be a subaru those things last forever!

Personally I prefer American cars since my family has had cars that have lasted well beyond what they should.  However, I do wish we'd take some things from foreign cars.

Personally, if we are required by law to wear seatbelts, don't see why the airbags should be coming out as fast as they are.  Yes it is probably to protect the 2% that aren't wearing seatbelts, but why are we protecting people who don't want to protect themselves and putting those who do want to protect themselves in harms way.  It's like forcing everyone to go to drug rehab because of the few people who do drugs.

My last couple prior to the one I have currently have were American cars and they just didn't last. I've only had my current Japanese-made vehicle for a couple years, but this has been running well and I've liked it so far. I'm going to say foreign.

I have never owned a foreign car, so really I would say American car is my favorite.  Have owned Pontiac for quite a few years and am very satisfied.

;) :wave:I have had both american and foreign and out of both I would have to say american it was a chevrolet and it lasted the longest.  Two chevrolets as a matter of fact.  An impala and a camaro.
