The gas goes up almost everyday.  I know that when I drove by the gas station it is one price in the morning and later that day it is going up.  I know that also it is not just gas that is going up, when this goes up the price for the heating oil also goes up.  I think it is unreal that it continues to go up.  I know that it is not going to help the way people spend the extra money.  Some people can not even find them money to pay for the basics thing they need now, but they have to buy gas to get to and from work.

I think the media has a lot to do with increasing gas prices. Every time the news media says they "heard" or "speculate" an increase in fuel prices, there goes our pocket money.

Gas prices go up and down all the time.  It's suppose to go up to $5 a gallon by summer time.

I agree with the poster who said it is nice to be able to check out the current local gas prices on FC.  I always click on the 15 cents paid to click offer and look at the gas prices.  (My other three favorites are Entertainment, Jobs, and News.)

I don't really understand all how that works I just know it hurts the pocket books.  Why do we need others oil we have plenty here why dont we just use it instead of selling it and buying it other places?

It seems to be more of a game at the pump. Daily going up and down.
I suppose a lot of people do blame the Presidents in office for this but I'm sure the companies have a lot to do with it too.

This pain is killing me.  I drive 120 miles a day to and from work and when gas prices go up it really puts a strain on my budget.  Hopefully, they come down again soon.

Dont look for gas prices to come down. I have watched gas prices at the station next to my home jump up overnight by as much as 4 cent. (in one night)  I always find that amusing since the station gets its fuel delivery twice a week, yet the fuel prices go up daily.. there was also an article in the tampa bay times that addressed fuel prices , was talking about in 2008 when fuel prices peaked at 3.60 - 3.80 per gallon . Everyone was very vocal about the anger over prices.. But this time, not the outspoken cry. the paper contributed the lower response due to people are not driving as much this time around, and at the time in 2008 walstreet had just failed ,as well as in 2008 large companies were filing bankruptcy..  I dont buy that load of BS the reason that the outcry over gas prices is not being herd , is that the people that should be listening are to busy watching thier wallets get fatter.. sure middle east problems effect gas prices.. but the DAILY change in price that we see at the pump is only fueled by greed..

Ha Ha Sure seems like one to me. I go past a station when I leave home and the price looks on the lower end of high. When I return home the price is generally a little higher but not always lol So

UGH I just went to gas station today in CT and prices are almost at the $4 mark...might have to cancel one summer vacation if they really do go up to $5.50.  The average person can never get a break!!!
