I lost most of my weight when I ate only soups (broth type) and salads.  Low on the meat intake and low on the breads.  For the breads they make a sprouted bread that is healthy.  Be careful of the dressings on the salad they have high calories and I actually have been putting squeezed lemon juice on my salad.  Veggies, Veggies, Veggies......And raw as much a possible.   But I am no pro...

I'm a failure myself when it comes to dieting, but if you need more exercise there's strap-on arm/leg weights and balancing on a ball that help your thigh and stomach muscles. There's yoga or Pilates. To go with the arms or light leg exercises, there's (can't remember the name of it) a stretchy rubber band thing that helps strengthen and tone. It went with a dance exercise video I got, but you could do them sitting as well, just the upper body parts. :)

Good luck and perseverance to you!

Love the raw veggies and fruit myself.  Any meat however, is cooked.

I stay away from any grains, breads and dairy products.

And drink lots of purified water.

It sounds like you want a food program where you can improve your health instead of depriving yourself of important nutrients.

Different things work well for different people.  I'm doing great since I decided to increase potassium to balance out a potassium/sodium imbalance.  Good luck, with whatever you decide to do for yourself.
Have a great day!

Well I Have Stayed Away From Diet Drinks Watch What I Eat And Started Walking Again Havent Lost But Two Lbs But Havent Gained Either So Thats A Start Thanks For All Your Advice!

I'm doing a trial run on Weight Watchers this week while my husband is out of town.  My sister has been on Weight Watchers for close to a year now and has lost 43 lbs and kept it off.  I'm older than she is so may not work as well for me but just wanted to try this week to see how close to staying under the 29 points  I would be allowed on the program; so far I've had no trouble staying below that number but I did notice last night when I went to bed that my tummy sure was growling.   lol  Not sure if my husband will be willing to try it or not and we usually do diet together and we usually put it right back on together too.  My sister says its just a matter of changing your eating habits and moderately exercising.  The exercising is my problem since I keep grandkids all day and when they go home all I want to do is sit and chill.  But, I do need to get at least 20 lbs off and would really like to drop 40 lbs so think I will keep trying the Weight Watchers.  The Smart Ones I've bought this week have been pretty good but my sister says you don't really have to do that if you just watch what you eat and weigh everything so you keep your quantities down to where they need to be.  We've done several diets thru the years but always end up putting the weight back on so I feel like this may be my answer.  Good luck to all those who have weight problems.

Lots of finer and protein to keep you full, protein powder coming handy. Ex: you can add it to your oatmeal for breakfast ^_^

I think i've finally come to the point where I realize fad diets just don't work. Eating right and exercise really is the magic formula. Tracking my calories daily has been the best.

Does a diet in Iron rich foods help?  There are streaches that can be done without walking and with aid of wallls, and chairs.  There are entire exercis programs that can be done while sitting.
