....why can't I act childish like him and make fun of him posting after I ignore him?Seems unfair?

You can...(and you STILL are)....
but doesn't that really defeat the purpose of ignoring someone in the first place??

How come it won't play?

I think falcon9 may rub people the wrong way. I have grown to like him. I respect him for his intelligence and for serving our country.

If you have problems with his athiest beliefs... Well then your lord and savior will get em.

I think God needs to do something about falcon9...the mods are busy keeping the discussion boards all organized now. ;D

Let's see what happens if you did 'pray' for it to happen immediately, (no nonsense about unanswered prayers, it taking an unspecified vague amount of time and such).  If I'm able to post another reply after this one, that would put a severe dent in the efficacy of such 'prayers'.

That post above was a joke, some humor to keep things "light".  I would NEVER pray for God to "do something about falcon9".  Lighten up, you're still ok with me!!

Well, I see it this way. I think everyone here is entitled to their opinion. However, I do understand what you mean about being annoying. Well, that is to a point.

What is "annoying" is an opinion in the eyes of the one who feels that way, (and usually that emotion stems not from a rational basis but, from a wholly irrational one).

I think he over posts. Like one after the other and consumes the thread.

Sometimes there are multiple replies by others within a thread(s) to which I choose to reply.  Other times, there are not, (there are many more threads in which I've made no replies whatsoever than those I choose to respond to).

But he still is entitled to his opinion. Now I would have more respect for him if he posted a rebuttal, no matter how long the actual post would be. But to continue post after post, there should be some limits.

Rebuttals have been posted in several instances and ignored or responded to while in others, a simple reposte was sufficient.

Humor can be misinterpreted just as often as other things can be.  My response was also intended as humor, (although of a slightly 'darker' variety perhaps).

Thanks siggy.  I try not to rub anyone that I don't know that well, (and few that I do) but, I catch your drift.

Unless there aren't any to get me, of course.

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. If you chose to talk about God then you have to understand that people have differing opinions on the subject. Atheists exist, deal with it. Don't cry because someone who is smarter than you disagrees and proves you wrong when you argue.

Smarter than me lol... That's awesome!

No doubt Snoozey meant 'much smarter than you' but, was being diplomatic.

Anyway it's like y'all don't read the previous post... Noone said he or anyone else couldn't have an opinion... There's just no need in following and trolling on the forum and picking fights...

It may be that "cubboo" believes others reading this cannot see his fabrications, ("picking fights", "trolling" - both of which "cubboo" has initiated himself).  Creating a thread expressly to "ignore" someone while trolling them makes the intent obvious, (and it isn't the one "cubboo" claims).

If the topic is about God and doesn't ask your opinion on it and you don't believe in God then stay out of the topic

What, opinions and observations can only be given if asked for according to "cubboo"?  How fascist.  Luckily, that's not in the forum posting rules.

and venture elsewhere to a dig topic that suits you...

I don't share your interest in "dig topic"(sic).

No need to come in and pick fights... IMO that CATTY, ignorant, and very childish...

Unfortunately for "cubboo", others have noticed that this is precisely what "cubboo" has been doing while falsely accusing me of such behaviour.  It is extremely disengenuous and undermines his trollish cause considerably.

Surely you have a better life and better stuff I do than to go from topic to topic and pick fights about religion or anything else... I don't know ur definition of smart but surely that's not it...

In repeating a false accusation in the forlorn hope that repetition will somehow make it true, "cubboo" provides an example of what isn't "smart".

That subtlety escapes "cubboo", unsuprisingly enough.  It does serve his purpose in 'trolling' me however.  Naturally, when one feeds a troll something indigestable, that troll will often barf up such nonsense as "cubboo" is now.

damn, guess if you have an opinion that doesnt go right along the mainstream religous belief you are wrong.

Not "wrong" per se, but having one's religious beliefs challenged could be considered to be 'annoying', (in that it's easier to become 'annoyed' than to offer a considered response to such challenges and probably deemed 'better' than having no response to "faith" being challenged).

if you dont like someone, ignore them.

Or, if someone wants to 'troll' someone else, post a thread making specious accusations and announcements about "ignoring" while continuing to troll them.  This will be obvious to almost everyone except the 'troll', ("cubboo").  As a sidebar; 'trolling a troll', (or, "counter-trolling"), may appear superficially similar if one cannot discern the differences.

If you're "ignoring" my posts, why would this matter to you? Thanks for providing your true trollish goal.  Your assistance in this matter is appreciated.

There's a TV commercial running where a young woman calls her bf on the phone to advise him that she's not talking to him.  Man, I hope this doesn't mean "cubboo" has an inappropriate crush on me.
