Are you honest when doing surveys?
« on: February 07, 2012, 08:52:03 am »
I am, and I guess that may be one reason why I keep getting dumped or not qualifying for them.

I am honest when I do the surveys. I don't qualify for many either. I hate when the kick me out right after I enter my age, sex and race. What's worse is after a answer 5 minutes worth of questions and than am told I don't qaulify.

I am, guess that is why i don't qualify for many.   It seems a waste of my time to do some of them. They just seem to want some info., and then its sorry. Wish they would have some that a lot of us could do when we don't have kids, not sick, don't want insurance and or autos.

I am honest because when I start lying I can not keep track of what I said the last time. :)

I'm honest for the most part. There are some things that I'll stretch the truth on like saying I've had something/been somewhere in a certain amount when it was actually a little longer but nothing really important enough to skew results

I am honest about mine....I get kicked out quite a bit after the first few questions....but the ones I do get are usually worth the effort.

Absolutely, I am. And if I get kicked out after a few questions a better survey comes along which really wants my opinions.

I am because I don't want to bother trying to remember what I said last time.  Besides it would make the surveys useless and they would quit doing them if they could not trust the answers (IN my opinion).  But I sure wish I qualified for more of them. :D

I agree totally and for the same reason it's like Judge Judy says If you tell the truth you don't have to have a good memory!!

I always tell the truth on the surveys.  If I started lying I would never be able to keep it straight.

Honesty is the best way , cause it seems as though they have their way of cross-examining us.

I am honest when I do surveys, for all the reasons stated above.  I do think they have ways to track answers, and I also think so many of the survey sites are actually owned by the same groups.

Ha ha! How true!  Besides, how many good surveys will you not get because you said something untrue thinking it was what they wanted to hear? Since you don't know what they are looking for when they ask questions, why not be honest? If you are who they are looking for you will qualify, if not there will be more chances down the road.

I am, but have run into a few instances where you couldn't give an honest answer as it wasn't an option in a series of checkboxes or radio buttons and one couldn't leave the answer blank as it required one.  Sometimes I have to guestimate and tend to base it on most recent periods of time I can remember but to not be honest would be much more work than to be honest so I cannot imagine the benefit of such (unless one assumes their is a target to the survey I suppose they might have a reason but I don't know that to be the case).
There are only 10 types of people in the world:  those who understand binary, and those who don't.

Yes, I am! I personally think you should be also! Besides, I made a mistake once (put in the wrong state) and they disqualified me. I guess some of the surveys check your profile to make sure you are telling the truth on certain items like (sex, age, address). I did not intentionally put in the wrong state but, I guess they caught it.
