What do the Bible and Huck Finn have in common?  Both great works of fiction.

Oh, and Leviticus 11:17 outlaws blended fabrics. I believe the same area of the bible you use to excuse your hate and bigotry.

Your nonsense about male couples having Aids doesn't support your stance against same sex marriage. In fact, it supports your stance that being gay is wrong. The stance of a bigot.  People used to site the bible to make excuses for slavery and oppressing women. We have progressed as a country, you are being left behind.

Just to add my two cents,I've always said if you want to allow deviant behavior to become the norm, where does it end?Are you gonna tell a guy he can't have 3 wives and 57 kids?If they're "in love" don't they have every right? You can't "cherry pick" what's deviant behavior and what isn't.

Maybe the dumbest comment in this thread.  Nope. Def the dumbest comment in this thread.
We can decide that a 40 year old man can date an 18 year old girl. Because she is a woman. 15 is not ok. We have decided that.
We allow people to consume the drug alcohol and the drug caffeine.   Crack is illegal. We decided that.

The idea that you can't tell the difference between two people marrying one another and a man marrying a goat just means you are an idiot.  Am I name calling? Yes. But are you being an idiot?  Yes.

How does everyone feel about them letting Gay people get married?

If a Gay couple wants to marry they have my blessing.  They also have my permission to divorce if that's what they eventually choose to do.  I believe everyone deserves to love and be loved.  If the marriage certificate and all the formalities are important to them I think they should be allowed to have that.
Have a great day!

Cubboo... you cherry picked three things from the Bible which also tell you that it is EQUALLY wrong to wear blended fabric clothing. FAR from intelligent.

Also, your statistics about the clap are both irrelevant to the debate and no where near accurate.

Cherry picked?? I gave three relevant Bible verses that says a man should not lay with a man... Whether u follow that that's up to you... And not relevant to the topic? The statement was made in earlier comments that gay marriage affects no one but the two that are married which is an outlandish and pretty dumb statement... Aids is around 40 more likely to come up in a male gay couple than a regular couple... Which then is spread to other people...

It's funny u try to be all smart and when someone brings up true and valid points and INTELLIGENT reasoning why to be against it you act like a five year old and just push the comments to the side... And yes I'm sure some of my numbers are skewed I got better things to do with my time then to look up and make sure the numbers are 100% right about gays spreading more stds...
INTELLIGENT people do not believe in FICTION like you do.

Many people will stand before a holy God on judgement day and answer for making such a mockery of the biblical sacredness of marriage betwen a man and a woman. America neds to repent now.

Well as far as the Bible goes it plainly says being gay is wrong... But to the statement above u don't go to hell for being gay if u can change and ask for dorgiveness... But as far as gays go they annoy the hell out of me... Like of ur gay me not thinking its not right ain't gonna change you so be gay just don't be gay towards me and the gay guys that are over the top gay... I think they just strive for attention like at my college I went to these gay dude would like wear ferry wings and panty hose and stuff just begging for attention... Ok ur gay we get it DRESS FREAKIN NORMAL! U don't see straight women wearing just their panties around like hey look at me I'm straight... It's so annoying and if u need that much attention and wanna dress like a freak move to Africa... They'll prob make u a leader of one of their tribes... They all dress wild over there...

Wow, this definitely qualifies for the 'Top10' category in complete ignorance, racial profiling, bigotry, and hot air spewed with homophobic hate. I'm sure all of it is justified though since you are a Bible referencing holier-than-thou Christian, right?! *Not directed at any Christian friends I have gotten to know on here.*

You say you graduated from college with a 3.9 and did it while drunk every night. Would the 'college' happen to be a school for very slow learners or a 'trade' school for tattooing? (Apologies to any legit tat artists or owners of nice tats - I happen to like them. ;)) I ask based on your [glaringly obvious] inability to write ie below the abilities of most 14 year olds I know. Hmm, seems to me the Bible also instructs man to NOT drink to excess, defile the body. It's totes cool that you brag about being a drunk since alcohol is very closely tied to the spreading and acquiring of STD's within college-age groups. Come on, do tell the truth here. You had an encounter with one of those [awful] gay men and are trying to block it out because you enjoyed it waaay too much aren't you? I thought so!

If you are a glimpse into the future leaders of this country we are in trouble. At least I'll know what to watch for. It will be you in your very own:

Lol thank you for that great post it made my day... I graduates from Mississippi State University... I'm sure they do teach a tattoo course there not sure tho... Sorry my writing skills aren't as good as some... I'm on my phone using fc an I guess my texting takes over and so therefore I may shorten words... My English teacher that gave me an A at MSU sure thought I made do tho... Ha... Ur right it does say that drinking is wrong in the Bible... I never claimed to be the best Chriatian or if u would take the time to go back and read I said that if u ask for forgiveness for being gay God will forgive... This was a thread about gay marriage not drinking... If u wanna start one about drinking ten go ahead... The post u made shows how dumb and ignorant u are it's as if u didn't read any earlier post... Hmmm and as far as drinking goes spreading std's... Homosexuality has a far more higher rate of std's than straight people ... Plain and simple no arguing... It's a fact... Drinking or not homosexuals have a veryyyy greater chance of spreading and contracting std's... And nah no encounter with a gay men... Maybe a few experiences with a drunken night with some lesbians... Hell maybe even ur daughter lol... Never know...

Sorry to disappoint you,but Leviticus 11:17 states clearly (ready for this?) "And the little owl, and the cormorant, and the great owl"

You might want to actually read the Bible (in context, hopefully) to understand it a little better.

Do you even know what you're talking about at this point?Didn't think so.

Polygamy is already being primed as the next big "life choice" and you're in no position to refuse them legal marrage if you're willing to allow as the norm,a deviant practice that has been forbidden by every major religion for centuries.Name calling isn't going to change the fact that you haven't a clue.

Fortunately, things which are speciously banned by 'religions' do not have the force of secular law in the U.S..  Btw, some would consider the practice of 'religion' to be deviant behavour which is "forbidden" by rational thinking.
One can lead a horse to water however, if one holds the horse's head under, that horse will drown.

I think gay marriages will work better in the long run than most marriages today because they have to fight for the right to be married.  Same with raising kids, NO ACCIDENTS.
