TY! I was just thinking "I don't believe this.....but am I the only one who thinks this is bogus?"
I COULD believe there would be someone moronic enough to try and sue Pepsi (or any soda company) for a ridiculous claim such as this....
HOWEVER, I don't believe that this would have EVER been Pepsi's answer, or anything close to it.
Even if someone at Pepsi had thought to say this (HIGHLY doubtful), they have people on their payroll whose job it is to make sure that the Pepsi company maintains a good public image, and they would never let that happen.

I am so glad that I have never liked Mountain Dew!  My son used to drink a 2 liter bottle almost everyday. I am so glad he got out of that habit!
I am pretty sure most soft drinks are bad for you in large amounts! 

I think most are bad too, especially diet-soft drinks, in excess, right?

I usually do not drink Mountain Dew, because it is has to much sugar and calories! I will drink Diet Mountain though!

I am trying to drink healthier. I try not to buy to much soda.  I like Mountain Dew I did not know that the acid was confirmed as being that strong. But, come on a Rat is bigger than a mouse.  How is it going to fit in a Montain Dew can?

I had gotten so Water was all I drank, but then a soda here, a soda there became a daily soda.

I will give you some valid reasons not to drink it. How about the fact it has 46 g of sugar in 20 oz. If that isn't enough for you how about that it has bromine in it which is a flame retardant. It contains brominated vegetable oil aka BVO which can cause skin lesions, memory loss and nerve disorders. It's use has been banned in foods throughout Europe and in Japan.

Seeing that they place so much focus on image, so yeah this is nowhere near being true.
