I think the name of the show is "American Idol."  And no, I don't watch it.  There is too much contrived drama.

No.  It is time for American Idol to drift off into the sunset.  It was fun while it lasted, but to compete with the X Factor is overkill.

Singing shows are annoying. IDOL is the worst.

I've never been a fan of singing shows, so no, not a fan of AI.

Since I'm an amateur dancer, I prefer the dancing shows.  My favorite is So You Think You Can Dance.

Recently, I've been getting into SyFy's "Face Off" which is a competition for make-up artists.

I think the common thread of the competition shows I like vs those I don't like are the ones with less drama and more focus on the competition/creativity/constructive critique from the judges - the better I like the show as I feel I'm learning something.  Never been a fan of the "reality drama" that some shows try to induce to make them "interesting".

I used to watch but not anymore.  I don't really watch any reality shows.

We've been watching Idol since day one. Yes it's changed but we still enjoy it. I like the fact they don't show the mentally deranged contestants. And, Steven Tyler is a hoot! 

One thing I don't think they should have done is change the beginning when they play the music with the graphics of someone walking the stage.

I like the Americian Idol show there are a lot of good young singers out there and it is good exposure for them.

Nope, it's so gimmicky and ridiculous.  I prefer The Voice where it's more about showcasing talent instead of making fun of bad singers.

yes americans sure are idle i know what you meant i make so many mistakes typing but as far as idol goes i used to love it now i watch some,kind of the same old thing going around but like the judges don't really miss what was his name oh yeah simon

I have seen the tv show! I don't watch that much of American Idol. If they show something better then I watch other show's! I don't totally dislike it!
