I don't get migraines (knock on wood) but I do have a neck that bothers me a lot.  Sometimes I wake up in the night with a headache.  This may sound silly and I don't know if it would help your kind of headache buy I rub Icy Hot or Ben Gay on my face and neck....around my eyes and on my forehead.  That usually helps me get back to sleep.
