He's his own competition.  I think people will just vote against him more than they are actually voting for the opponent.  Thats what they did in '08.  Everyone voted against McCain because of bush more than they voted for Obama

Colbert...lol...kidding
Obama, of course.  The only real winner.  He has no real competition.  The GOP candidates are all jokes.  They all think God wants them to be President, and they are so sure they can undo what Obama has done - which I'm sure they will - employment will go down again, the rich will still get richer....and the poor will be stepped on.
End the suffering!  Get your cats - and all strays and ferals - spayed and neutered!

I'm just a kid. I fell for a lot of the hype back in 2000 mostly due to my family being strict Christians and Republicans. I wasn't allowed to vote of coarse due to my age, but if I could have, I would have voted for George W. Bush. It was later when I actually began finding out that a lot of the ideas my family were saying and believing about the president weren't true. Then 2004 came. I've done a lot of homework which started because I fell victim for the internet conspiracies that were going on then about 9/11 and the military industrial complex, the whole 9 yards. Most of the things I learned, I debunked myself, but in that time chasing wild geese and fairy tales, I actually learned a lot about our government and US politics over the years going back to our so called "founding fathers" as it's coined.

I didn't vote because I honestly didn't see the point after finding out how corrupt things are and have been in Washington. When 2008 came, I went out to vote for Stephen Colbert and I wasn't allowed to vote even though my registration card was in order and everything on my state ID validated it. They wouldn't give me a reason, I was just told by the woman behind the desk that I couldn't vote. After asking questions, I was escorted out by a security officer. I still don't know why I couldn't vote although I do admit that while in line talking to an old man, I said I'm not voting for Obama, when I said that, I remember the lady catching eyes with me and giving me a look. This event led me yet on another crusade to find the truth, the Agent Mulder of politics. What I've found isn't the worst thing, but it's not good either. I can elaborate, but that would make this very long.

So after careful consideration of the facts without playing favoritism for anyone because I've had enough of Washington and politics alike and C-Span is the most boring thing on the planet. I would vote Ron Paul. I thought he had the most integrity of anyone in Washington before I knew he was running, then the so called racist documents were released. That really threw me for a loop, but after further research, I came to find out that he didn't write them and that's really the only thing he had going against him. Further proof of how great this man is at what he does is in the media's ever constant approach to censor and ridicule him. Notice how they don't do this to any of the others and if so, no where to the degree he receives.

I'm not telling anyone who to vote for and for that matter, I'm not sure if I'm even voting yet. I'm still doing my research, so I wont have an answer till the last minute. But I do know this, I don't think it would be a bad idea to actually know a thing or two about who you're voting for before you rush out and make our country worse than it already is. Just because you like your candidate doesn't mean he's a good leader and just because he can do a lay up doesn't mean he can lead a people. If most of you actually looked at the numbers and actually at how those numbers are achieved, what scales and measurements are used, how the measurements taken. You'd realize everything is in shambles, but that's obviously too much to ask since most of my fellow countrymen still believe George Washington chopped down a cherry tree.

IF you actually were denied a vote in 2008, (which I confess, I do not believe your story) and everything happened as you said it did... It was not a conspiracy that cost you your vote. You would have been guilty of electioneering. You saying "im not voting for obama" to someone about to cast their vote isnt legal. There is an arbitrary distance from a voting poll in which campaigning must end.
