Well along with taking online surveys, there are some online focus panels that offer money. Does anyone here have any additional information on them? Such as where to join?

I work for a market research company and I recruit focus groups. If you want to do a focus group in your community, look up market research companies in your own community. Call them and ask if they do focus groups. If so, ask how you can get in on them. If they do not, ask what companies do. 

I am not aware of online focus groups but you might do a search.
