Yes & no, I sometimes feel so crappy in this life that I wish I was dead but I'm just too chicken to off myself. I too have depression, OCD, hoarder, I finally admit it, perfectionist, self hater. I'm on some meds but it does not make me feel happy, it just stops the "someone's after me feelings or the he/she's hates me feelings even though, I don't even know the person. Another reason why, I can't kill myself is that to me, it'll never be good enough. If I kill myself & things aren't done perfectly, then I can never do a do over! I've seen shows were the police finds the body & it's really in a bad setting, like being found naked or your pet's eating you. Which is okay to me b/c at least even in death I could provide for my homeless pets. Seriously, I would never willingly kill myself even if it's 100 days that I'm feeling like I want to die. I made my husband b/4 he passed that I would take care of the cats. Right now, they're the only reason why I bother getting at all each day.

Sure. I work as a stand up comedian. if I didn't from time to time I would not be very good at my job.  Everyone has them.  But it's very taboo to admit it.

I think everyone has at one time or another the important thing is not to act on it.

I have to be honest...it has been a thought of mine. But that is as far it goes. I figure if I'm not here I don't have to worry about anything bills, relationship, love, work and all the other emotions that come with life. But then I remember if I am gone who is going to care for my babies the way I do. I( have made some bad chooses but I have also made some very good ones. I do believe in God and I know that he will not put more on me then I can handle but again like I said it's just a thought

When I became sick and was in so much pain and could not work my full-time and part-time jobs, I was so upset my life change so much. The only suicidal thoughts I had is when I started to take anti-depression medications, the pills made me feel worse and sleepy. When I stop taking the pills I was able to get a little better and now I work a part-time job.  I know I have too much to live for and the pills was not the answer.

When I was a teenager I did, but I think that is a hard age. I would never what to have my youth back...lol

No I don't think I have ever been that depressed.I have lost a child and my youngest daughter now is going through some things and doesn't want to even speak to us.It gets rough,but I don't think I could do that.

Good for you! Anti depressants were prescribed for just about everything for awhile. I been there once myself, after losing a child in an auto accident. I believe my doctor was trying to help my grief but anti depressants don't seem to help that. Only time and love help some things.

I have recently hit rock bottom ( Lost 2 jobs and my own apartment ) and I too have thought " What am I here for? ", but everyday is a new day and I know I must keep my head up, it helps to have support from the people that really care!
