Computer questions for the smart folks =)
« on: January 11, 2012, 04:41:17 pm »
I have a couple questions -- I read on one of the threads that clearing cookies is a good idea to ensure you are credited properly.  First, I don't know how to do that (windows 7 and Chrome user)  Also, if I do clear my cookies, will I lose things like my autofills and saved passwords that are auto filled on websites?

The operating system (Windows 7) doesn't matter (I use Linux) but Chrome makes it easy. You should have a History Eraser icon top right, just click that and uncheck the stuff you don't want erased. If you don't have the toolbar, click the wrench, select Tools and Clear Browsing Data to get to the same screen.
