I think the couponing thing is a great idea but , i know my stores here are starting to only want coupons from newspaper.  Some do not take black and white at all. I spent a whole afternoon getting my shopping list together with coupons and stores and was kinda upset they would  not take the printed black and white ones.  You could tell they were not copied but, I could not use them.  Printing color in the long run cost to much per coupon printed.

Wow, I never heard of a store not taking a black & white coupon....

Coupons are a real big help especially in this economy.

I love the coupons that Fusion Cash has to offer, they are really up-to-date

with latest name brand in the grocery or anything stores right now.

Fusion Cash really rocks!!!

I'm so sorry.. that is horrible.
Our stores here take either or.. as long as they scan.

I agree.. having to print in color.. in my opinion... really would not be worth it. The colored ink would really add up.

Here is a tip... if you get a site where you print one.. if you click help at the bottom.. some coupons they will send to you.  You can't print so they send them to you.

Sometimes my computer wont print from some single coupon pages.. so I do not risk loosing that coupon...  I will just have it sent to me.

**if you attempt to print.. and they do not print... you loose that coupon.
You can print 2 on each offer.
Thus why I have the single ones sent if they have the option.

:star: :star: I hope that helps!!  :star: :star:

Me either.  I would either go back to that store and ask for a copy of their coupon policy or search for it online.  It is rare for a store not to accept internet coupons as long as they scan.  Now if for some reason your coupons would not scan, then it is the policy of some stores not to take them.  For example, if you were low on ink it might cause the bar codes to not work.  It makes me wonder if it was an over zealous clerk that I like to call a "coupon hater."  There are some people who work in stores who hate couponers.  They will do anything they can not to have to take a coupon.  It is almost like a jealousy thing.  They feign disgust and roll their eyes to try to make you feel like you are being cheap.  In reality, these are the kind of people who are too lazy or unresourceful to figure out how to save tons with coupons, so they don't want anyone else to get a deal that they can't have.

If you have a chance, please let me know what store this is and I will look into it for you.

I recently had a problem kind of like this with my local Walgreens.  Even though I had their coupon policy in my hand and could point to the exact rule that proved that they were not following their own policy, the clerk, assistant manager and even the manager refused to honor the deal.  I reported it to Headquarters and then began tell everyone I know that uses coupons to avoid that store.

I also mention it in my blog every chance I get. You would be surprises how many people in my community stumble upon that post.  I also tell everyone about the Walgreens 10 miles down the road who is happy to take coupons and has employees who understand their coupon policy.

I love coupons, but there are times when some clerks seem to think the coupon money is coming out of their pockets and tend to give you a hard time about internet coupons.  You just hav to stand your ground and if need be, talk to the manager.

Ask for the coupon policy in writing and don't take any crap! I use a knock off ink for my printer and it is very cheap to print in color. I also ignore my printer when it "claims the ink is out" when it is clearly still printing correctly lol!

I have not run across the black and white problem but my store has stopped taking the coupons if it won't scan.  The cashiers really try to make it scan tho.  Like the other person mentioned about the walgreens, some stores are much more accomodating.  You might want to just look for another store.

I just started couponing a few months ago and you can really notice the savings. Sometimes you can get stuff for free or next to free. Couponing is a new hobby of mine.

I've had Walmart refuse my black and white printed coupons.  Go figure.

Some stores  have a problem with it, so you might have to find another one
