Wow, I never heard of a store not taking a black & white coupon....
Coupons are a real big help especially in this economy.
I love the coupons that Fusion Cash has to offer, they are really up-to-date
with latest name brand in the grocery or anything stores right now.
Fusion Cash really rocks!!!
Me either. I would either go back to that store and ask for a copy of their coupon policy or search for it online. It is rare for a store not to accept internet coupons as long as they scan. Now if for some reason your coupons would not scan, then it is the policy of some stores not to take them. For example, if you were low on ink it might cause the bar codes to not work. It makes me wonder if it was an over zealous clerk that I like to call a "coupon hater." There are some people who work in stores who hate couponers. They will do anything they can not to have to take a coupon. It is almost like a jealousy thing. They feign disgust and roll their eyes to try to make you feel like you are being cheap. In reality, these are the kind of people who are too lazy or unresourceful to figure out how to save tons with coupons, so they don't want anyone else to get a deal that they can't have.
If you have a chance, please let me know what store this is and I will look into it for you.
I recently had a problem kind of like this with my local Walgreens. Even though I had their coupon policy in my hand and could point to the exact rule that proved that they were not following their own policy, the clerk, assistant manager and even the manager refused to honor the deal. I reported it to Headquarters and then began tell everyone I know that uses coupons to avoid that store.
I also mention it in my blog every chance I get. You would be surprises how many people in my community stumble upon that post. I also tell everyone about the Walgreens 10 miles down the road who is happy to take coupons and has employees who understand their coupon policy.
