I drink occasionally.  I never got big into the bar scene.  Too expensive and you end up wasting the whole next day.

When I was young I did my share of drinking on the weekends. Now I only drink twice a year. Once on the 4th of July and again on New Years Eve.

I drink much more than I would like to and aiming to curb that in 2013. It is such a waste!  Money spent, braincells killed, silly stories/regrets created, doesn't allow me to fully enjoy my life, hangovers can kill a day or two spent with the family. Family time is precious to me because my daughter will be moving on to college within two years.  I am afraid that my wife and I have not been the best role models because of our cocktails.  My daughter is on the right track and I don't think that she will have anything to do with alcohol but my son is more impressionable, is more of an explorer and daredevil and adores/emulates me.  I have four years left before he goes to college so I will try and repair what we have done.

Yes I drink beer just a couple of cans a day. 2 or 3 a day during the winter months then it is a few more during the summer.

I'm not a drinker either, had alcoholics in my family too. But It's not like I didn't drink I partied just like the rest, growing up but don't like them hangovers and days wasted but now that I am an oldie but goodie they say that wine is good for you and beer is more nutritional for you say if you didn't eat right my mom would offer my friends a beer knowing that they had not been eating like they should she would say that would be better for them than a sandwich I know they loved it but my mom was thinking about their health and it would only be 1 beer. I may drink on occasions but I don't get drunk.
