That's a significant point; the existence of a belief is not the same as the existence of the entity/subject believed in.

No, that's your opinion and while you are free to hold it, it has no substantive basis.  Both those who are 'believers' and nonbelievers have died.  There is no evidence of any benefit of being either as both are just as dead now.  The only real difference occurs while living; the former waste their time in self-delusions and the latter do not.  Looks like the nonbelievers have a perceptible net gain, (as oppose to a hypothetical one, based upon 'faith').

Do I believe in myself yes,  now do i believe in a God No do i believe in a being higher than us yes i do. Now before some attack this I'll explain now with myself, I take respond able  for how and what i make my life into, i don't blame the one some of u call god or devil.  it is the choices u make.  Now with why i don't believe in a God is simple i can't believe in a God that say he loves us all no matter what then turn around and say in a bible to kill those who hav sin or worst.  Think it like this if the God u call is love and rebirth why would he want us children in his eyes to kill and hate other i think that is someone else.  Those who says u doing god work for kill and hate is not ur doing the devil's.  Now why i say being higher than us  i see it like this we gave him/her the god name, did we ask if we could or not.

Now i hope for our future is people stop thinking that separate differences in race, color, choices, religion, sex, sexual choice. We love and respected  others we stop kill each other.
